What is the best way to contact us? Email!
Our email is info@wardmaps.com. We monitor that consistently and do our best to reply same day, if not, then typically within twenty-four hours. Our in-store staff (typically one person at a time) often does not have the time to adequately address phone inquiries while simultaneously assisting customers in person and fulfilling online orders.

About Our Shop
We are located next to Boston in historic Cambridge, Massachusetts, home of Harvard and MIT. We are situated directly between Harvard and Lesley University. We are purveyors of antique maps, museum quality reproduction maps, cartographic gifts, and vintage transit memorabilia.

We have been dealing in late 19th and early 20th century maps for two decades. The WardMaps retail store features thousands of authentic antique maps of local neighborhoods of cities local and far afield. We carry an extensive collection of 19th century antique world, continent, country, city, and transit maps from around the world.

WardMaps LLC is the official merchandise developer for Boston's MBTA. Our store features hundreds of MBTA-themed gifts all in one place.

Directions via Public Transportation or by Foot
We are a 5-10 minute walk from MBTA Porter Red Line subway/commuter rail station. Take the main entrance up to the street. At the top of the escalators, go left out the doors and walk along Massachusetts Avenue toward Harvard Square. MBTA buses 77 and 96 stop on Massachusetts Avenue within a block of the store.

We are a 15-20 minute walk from Harvard Square or a five minute bus ride on MBTA route 77 or 96 (direction toward Arlington or Medford) from Harvard Red Line Station. Our store will be on the right if coming from Harvard Square on the bus or by foot.

Directions by Bicycle
We are located between Harvard and Porter Squares along Massachusetts Avenue, which has a marked bicycle lane along that stretch. Bicycle racks located out front.

Directions by Car (Large trucks are not permitted on this route)
From the North or South take I93 to downtown Boston. Take exit for Storrow Drive. From the West take I90 to Cambridge Exit and left onto Storrow Drive.

Follow Storrow Drive and take the exit for Harvard Square. At top of ramp take right and proceed straight on JFK Street through Harvard Square. JFK Street becomes Massachusetts Avenue. The store will be on the right after Junior's Gas Station.

Parking for Cars
Parking meters are readily available along Massachusetts Avenue in front of our shop. On Sundays only, free on-street parking is available in the Cambridge resident permit only areas on the side streets around us.

Parking for Bicycles
