Photograph of the Washington Street Elevated / Forest Hills Extension (Southern portions of the Main Line Elevated) 1982. Taken by the federal Historic American Engineering Record (HAER), photographs capture the elevated railway structures and stations of the then southern half of the MBTA's Orange Line. After the Orange Line was relocated to the Southwest Corridor in 1987, the elevated structures and stations were demolished.
